Just wanted to drop in quick and say happy belated birthday to everyone. I meant to do this Sunday, but it was just a pretty hectic day, and I never got around to it. Anyways, I've been wanting to write another big post again soon, hopefully I'll get around to it this weekend. ReplyDeleteI was married at one time, long ago. Had a couple of pass thru relationships, and multiple one night stands. Then moved to another big city where I decided to find my answers to the male attraction.
Growing up in the U.S. can be a good thing. Opportunities abound. So the great white way teaches us to pursue a big house, several cars, more TV's, a wife and the appropriate kids. But life in the U.S. doesn't recognize or teach the bonding of men. Some schools or fraternities may but that doesn't find it's way into mainstream life. You have to learn that on your own. You have to break the mold to find yourself.
The really hard part is going to find out if your best are really friends at all. When you find the cool guy to share some time with, or a cool lesbian gal who wants you to donate some sperm for a shared responsibility, how are those friends going to react? And are they really willing to be supportive?
Finally, you've told absolutely EVERYBODY you need to tell about your sexuality. Anybody else just needs to understand that you share your time with the person you want to be with for the occasion. If they don't understand that then your reality is none of their business. They haven't found the mold to break for themselves, you don't need to trust them with the new one you've created for yourself.
